Here’s a bit about us and how it works.
We currently live in a world of technology and speed. It doesn’t matter if your young or old. If you are employed or are a stay at home mom. If you’re just starting your life, or have a family of 5. The fact is we are all extremely busy. Not to mention there are millions of different photographers who would be able to handle taking pictures of your family. So what sets us apart?
Anyone can take a picture, but at Bridgett Lane Photography we want to create an experience from start to finish. I want my clients to leave their session feeling as that I truly captured everything they were looking for, and had a great time in the process. As mentioned living in a world of technology, pictures tend to end up on a flash drive in a drawer somewhere, my goal is to have you look at my products as works of art you will be excited to display in your home and cherish for years to come.
Making the Connection.
It all starts with an e-mail or phone call from you. From there, We chat about ideas, your thoughts, colors, themes, options, locations, what to wear. It’s super relaxed- we can do it by email, we can meet for coffee, you can drop by the studio or just a phone call. Then from our conversation/chit chat It’s my turn to put my creative spin on your session to capture you.
Newborn Session.
All of the newborns you see in my work are photographed right in my little studio in Kirkwood New York! By the time your Newborn Session has rolled around, you and I will have talked quite a bit either through e-mail, by phone, or in person about what to expect and how to best prepare for your session. At this point, all you have to do is get yourselves and the little one to the studio and we will take it from there! We want you to sit back & relax! Depending on your comfort some moms watch the entire session and other put their feet up and take a nap. Either way we want you to feel comfortable. We pride ourselves on not only delivering an unmatched product, but we realize you only get one chance to captured this magical event. Our goal is to create an amazing, unforgettable experience.
Indoor Child Session.
Indoor session gets you even more variety. The studio is stocked with props, chairs, & backdrops with all that we offer each and every session is unique and customized to fit you. During our pre consultations we go over what outfits you have in mind plus my additional adds not to mention these are perfect for all year. Living in the North the weather is always so unexpected and unpredictable yet we always get amazing shots no matter what.
Outdoor Child or Family Session.
These sessions take place in a chosen outdoor location. They are fun, natural and allow you to be just as you are. My goal for each and every shoot is for you to feel comfortable, have loads of fun, and come away with images that speak to your unique personality and beauty as an individual, couple, or family. Sessions usually begin early mornings or about an hour before the sun sets to get that dreamy light which is so spectacular!

Within 2-3 weeks after your session, You again hear from me- I’ve either uploaded your incredible images to a private password protected gallery for your viewing pleasure or you can return to the studio where we will display your images; watermark free on a large screen. Next it’s time to make your selections and its Time to shop! Bridgett Lane Photography offers various options from gift prints to ready to hang frames.
When they arrive we package them up & they are ready for pick up. We love when it’s simple, pretty and all you have to do is hang and enjoy.
